F3 600 has no power

Default F3 600 has no power

hi guys. I have a f3 600. the bike will idle fine. when on the stand i can put it in gear on hammer on the throttle with no issues. when i try to ride it, the bike will take off with good power but start cutting back at like 20 mph. very confused!!! Any ideas?

check your spark plugs, and make sure your plug wires are going to the correct cylinders. Had a similar problem on my old 89 cbr and ended up having the plug wires to #3 and #4 were switched

Or your air solenoid valve is stuck and needs removing/bypassing.

That's a lot easier than it sounds to actually do, and will cause no harm to your bike at slow speeds and of course, will no longer hinder it at high speeds.

If it's the solenoid that's failed and locked into low speed position, it could be causing all of your problems.

CBR forum taught me that.
