Default weeeeeird noise

allright, when i start my bike every morning to take it to work, i choke it for a minute and let it idle after it warms up, and no weird noises occur, but, when i'm out goin for a joyride say 50 miles about, shut it off to go into the gas station, come back out, start it, and this noise, it just becomes real loud, but i can't pinpoint what it is, someone had told me that it was possibly my exhaust valves adjusting, but i honestly have no clue as to what it is, does anyone have any clue on what this might be??

Be more specific on the sound...is it a knocking noise, metallic pinging, rattle???

kinda sort of a pingish noise? my f4 makes a noise of its own, i have a friend at the local honda shop he went to MMI and he told me that with so many miles u would get that, or it could be something serious if its loud? worse case Im sure u need stuff adjusted valves? maybe? and if u did i bet that bike would run a lot sweeter. just my 2 cents im no pro

I've owned both and F2 and F3 in the past, and what I remember as the biggest flaw in Honda design with the F2 is the Cam chain tensioner. When it's going out there will often be a sound that resembles the sound of needing a valve job. Either you can buy another OEM Part that WILL fail eventually, or get yourself a manual tensioner for your bike. I hope this helps.
