My bike was running just fine, and then I turned it off for 2 minutes and I didn't get any power. If I disconnect the battery and reconnect it I get power to everything until I hit the ignition switch and then everything goes dead. I took the Ignition control module off, and the power also comes back and the starter will turn over. Does this pretty much mean the ICM is bad or is there anything else I should check? Anyway to check the ICM?

 

Check your voltage regulator with a multimeter.

 

It was the ICM.

its the ignition control module. its the black box located on the right side of the tail. right next to the voltage regulator
