I feel like a kid in a candy store!!! 14 years ago I purchased my first sport bike--a 1988 Honda Hurricane 600 with 900 miles on her..I rode that bike for 5 years until my new wife made me sell it. Since then I havent riden at all (even after a good friend of minebought a brand new R1).
Fast forward to 2007--wife and I are getting divorced. A friend of mine was down at Renton Motorcycle Center buying some gear for his new ATV's and asked me to meet him for a bite to eat and what do I see? A 1992 CBR600F2 for sale--and its even red (this is a bike Ive always wanted AND its in MINT condition)..Needless to say I bought it on the spot and honestly feel like a kid again--went riding today and am 100% totally addicted..Already picked up a new Alpinstar jacket and gloves and thank god I never got rid of my Shoei helmet..Im all set.
Long live the CBR!!! Here is a picture of my new bike.

Great looking bike, one of my favorite color schemes for the f2s. I can't wait for the snow to go away and for it to get warm so i can go riding.

 

Same here man. Supposed to be 51 degrees Thursday out of nowhere. I think I'll be taking a ride.

CONGRATS!! i know exactly how you feel i just bought a 1994 CBR 600f2 on friday and i cant stop going out side to look at it !!! i ve driven it twice and then it started to snow so i had to stop cause the weather.im ADDICTED!!!!!

 

I can't wait for the snow to clear. Supposed to get in the 50-60's next week. Definitely do some riding. I need new tires for my new F3. I want to try it out.

I paid $2199 plus tax and license which I thought was a good deal considering the condition this bike is in (not a scratch on her)..The seat is a Corbin--It was on the bike when I bought it so I dont know if they still make them or what the cost is but I can tell you this--it is ridiculously comfortable (feels like Im sitting on a couch)!
Sorry to hear about all the snow back east guys(I live in Seattle) its been 55 degrees all weekend here and everyone is out riding their bikes (it rarely snows here)..Hope you get some warmer weather for this upcoming weekend.

 

that bike is HAWT!! I can't wait until my bike is put back together. its like 10 deg. hwere if im lucky and im going nuts!!!!!!
