i figured out what was wrong with the rear not lining up. the plastic peice that holds the whole rear assembley and tailight mount was busted. so i got out my heat iron and melted all the cracks together and filled them with scrap plastic. i also put a few coats of fiberglass resin over the whole thing. all fixed and the panels alight good now. now on to my new ? im wondering if i need the air ducts? i had none on my bike before and need to know if they're necessary.thanks

 

They would be nice to have, but are not required. They do provide a little ram air effect, but they are not sealed to the air box.

I have my first project ongoing and i'm making somekind of scrambler.

So have someone fitted engine guards, crash cages, radiator guards from e.g. hornet? Racing95 makes cool ones but they are not cheap.

For example will these fit relatively easy:
