Wink

It looks hot from the front with those headlights!

So you did all of this because you were getting gouged on F2 fairings?!

I have extra F2 & F3 fairings and seat (but I guess you do too).

Sounds like your almost done man, cant wait to see how it will turn out, I was thinking about swapping to a 600rr tail because of the better fitment, but I havent decided yet.

Thanks man, and the reason I did this conversion was because my right side upper and lower decided to fly off on the interstate, and fairing prices for an old bike are almost identical to a newer bike, so I went ahead and started the build.

Honestly, fitment is really simple. Of course I trimmed mine down a bit where it meets the seat so I could drop the whole thing lower to cover my lower subframe. Men's I'll have to fabricate bigger panels but not too big a deal.

I was just thinking of doing it because the 1000rr tail ends right behind the seat, as where the 600rr ends in front of the seat which helps cover more subframe, but I havent decided yet, I'm too busy fixing my eclipse.

If you do, try the 03-04 version. Tail piece goes down instead of straight across on those. I managed to cover all my subframe.
Seems like I was fixing my eclipse alot lol

Yea I figured the 03-04 version was better but I havent decided if I am gonna swap the tail, I would have to cut the old brackets and weld in new ones, which obviously I dont feel like doing lol. I have been busy and havent worked on the bike except put on more white led lights on it to make it stand out at night.

looking at your brackets, Im not so sure you would have to remake any brackets. the seat bracket are the same, the way you mounted your taillight looks like it should just slip right in. not sure from pics. I can take mine off and get some pics and measurements for ya so you can compare if youd like. planning on working on her sometime this week anyway so....
