Thanks for the suggestions. I poked around the electrical and couldn't find anything anywhere that seemed unusual. Connections are clean and tight, ground is tight, everything looks like it's in good shape. I've since taken her out on several one hour rides without any issues. I'm going to write it off as unknown operator error and move on with my riding season
