Default Any custom Headlight bracket for F2?

I'm thinking about riding my F2 without upper fairing. I noticed that the for headlight to stay, it needs the upper fairing. Is there any way I could keep the headlight on without the upper fairing?

Keeping the stay without the fairing will put the light way out in front of the bike. It would probably look better to get rid of the fairing stay altogether and get a light that mounts to the forks.

Also, when you take off the fairing stay, there's a two-bolt mount on the frame that would then be free for a neat little bracket doodad to hold the light up. It's a great spot for one of those round mini-projector lights. Just make sure to take care of the wires that used to be held by the fairing stay in some sort of respectable fashion. I've seen some scary stuff go down...

Thank you so much for the advices. As upper fairing stay is eliminated, what do you do with gauges cluster?

I did the F4i gauge swap on my bike. It's much smaller that the F2 gauges. That way you can mount them directly to the top of the forks. It looks a lot better...

Great idea.
How is the harness conversion?
One is analogue, another is a digital.

Yes the gauges are analog but the sensors are electronic. So the F4i gauges work just fine. There really is no harness to use. You have to cut off the connectors on both the bike and the F4i gauges and splice them together. Also, you have to replace your speed sensor with the 900rr. I didn't have to do this on my F3. So it is a little different.
