Default Custom Exhaust Hanger Bracket (pics!)

Alright.....so I bought the only aftermarket exhaust hanger available (that I could find) and that was $60, and okay looking

Plan B was to just shave the stock one, and that's what I did.

Here's what I started with:

Cut the two brackets off on the vertical bandsaw and then ground the "stumps" down and then hit it up with some 80 & then 150 grit sandpaper:

Then the company/guy that powdercoated my rearsets said he'd powdercoat this piece for me for free.....so here it is after powdercoating:

Paint it black and you have the same damn thing you paid 60 bucks for. Great work!

Right....well I sent back the $60 hanger cuz I wanted to see what it looked like (there were no pictures of it online) and it was just a overpriced piece of metal basically and that's why I stuck with the shaved stock piece

But the whole reason for posting this up was for people who don't use the passenger pegs.....you could unbolt the left side and then shave the right side like I did (since you gotta keep the exhaust hanger part) and then paint it black or leave it silver if you want

I only had it powdercoated to match my rearsets (that the guy also did) and also cuz it was free
