Default My new Custom Plate Bracket...

Well in the last 2 days i got a fair amount of stuff done to my bike. Ive been wanting for a whille to paint my rear pegs black, so today i decided to do it. while having the pegs off i had a idea for a plate bracket to clean up the tail section. Took a few pics of thefinal productwith myphone....Let me know what you think....Ill be putting a small light above it tommorow to keep it legal...

The plate bracket is nothing more then a shortstrip of alluminum (got it for free from a friend who does a/c work).... I simply folded a 90* bend in it drilled some holes, knotched out a small piece for the fairing, painted it black and bolted it up

I like the concept, but aren't you worried that the hugger will hit, or have you tested it out?

It looks like the plate might hit the undertail if you hit a good sized bump. I'd check that...seriously.

It also looks like you'll get a ticket for not having the plate displayed...but...more power to ya on that one.

Nice chrome on the fender...

The First thing i did was make sure it wont hit the hugger.... with me bouncing on it and a friend pushing some more it still doesnt even come close...

As for the ticket, its alot more visible then it looks in the pics.... Its basically mounted in the same spot as the Comp. werks kit on the 600's and 1000's

Chrome on the fender????

the first pic makes the hugger look shiny and it does kinda look like chrome in the pic. i think that is what he is referring to.
