My 1990 cbr is dying....Why?
I just bought a honda Cbr for about a $1000 and when I purchased it, it was running just fine! But the morning after I got it home, It couldn't catch ignition! It sounded like it wanted to hit over but then my rpm would go back down to 0! After awhile, my bikes power got weaker and weaker so I assumed that the battery was fried! Took it out and seen it wasa everstart battery from wall mart! I thought about charging it but It seemed like it died to quick. I'm new to motorcycles and how they work, should I just buy a new battery or keep the one I have?
It looked like it was at least a year or so old! I think maybe its a dead cell? I know car batteries don't die that quick! But I'm not sure about bike batteries!
Can anyone help?

do you have a meter? if so, check battery voltage. if you can trickle charge the battery, try. if not, see if the auto parts store can load test the battery for you. i'venever had a battery not last me more than 4 years. but then again, i never bought a battery from Wal-mart.
