I see a lot of people swapping the plastics for the F4i track or even the 600rr, but has anyone ever tried moding the stock fairing by simply cutting it down a little?

I would like to see more frame and engine showing, like on newer bikes. I was looking to see if maybe the upper part of the fairings by the frame could be cut down to at least show some of the sexy frame? Has anyone ever tried?
