Hey guys new here, and to motorcycles in general. I just bought a 88 600 cane and it has troubles going from first gear to nutreal. I was thinking that the it might be out off adjustment because the clutch was just replaced. I should also say that the bike goes in nutreal fine with the engine off. How do you adjust the clutch ?

 

remove right side fairing. there you will see clutch cable and adjustment barrel and lock nut. there should also be a fine adjustment barrel on the clutch perch under the rubber boot. use the adjustment at the bottom to take out any slack. then use the top adjustment for fine tuning.
