Just wondering if i can adjust the lever to be closer...i had surgery and it's hurts when i reach out all the way sometimes..

You can adjust the clutch freeplay in the handle but u still have to extend a lot to engage. You can also adjust the quickness of the engagement but the closer you adjust it the more the clutch stays partially engaged so it burns your clutch up faster. I found this out when i wanted to do the same thing.

it sounds to me he wants the clutch to engage closer to the bar so you dont have to extend out quite so far--mine does the same thing but the way i understood it i explained on my other post..

 

yeah that's the reason..i want the clutch lever closer so i can pull it easier insted of extending my poor fingers

 

You can buy adjustable aftermarket levers, but they cost close to 90 bucks................per lever................

No...they're CRG levers...very high quality.
