Yeah, I've had Gerbings for a while myself. Good quality stuff. Since I also have a Goldwing (and it has an enormous charging system), I have the full set of Gerbings... socks, jacket liner, pants liner, and gloves. With the balaclava, I can ride in just about any temp -- at least any reasonable temp. I had the whole Gerbing setup on my F4i, but haven't hooked it up to the 1000RR yet.

Shouldn't they make a handguard similar to what's on dirtbikes just for this? I think it would help a ton - it might not look the best, but if they made it easy to install and remove, might be worth $30, and it might even end up looking alright...
