my chain
okay so i just bought an 05 repsol and the chain seems really loose, but I don't have the manual to see how tight it should be, can anyone help me on this one. oh yeah it's my first bike so i'm new to all of this.

after its tight, you should have about 1inch of play (up and down) at you rearset.
thats where your foot is.
remember that after you get it set, the tighting of the back axel nut will tighten up the chain a liitle more. so get about 1.75 inches of play, then tighten up the back. you sould be good after that.
