i live in the mountains of east tn. and see all the young guys get torn up and make their bikes look like crap but now and then a good straightway dosnt last long and a try to be a good wheelie every now and then. i have went down before when i was younger had to learn a lot 53 years young now a whole lot wiser.

i easily get 155-175 miles before i ever see the light. i dont come even close to riding conservatively. i ride a stock 2005 1000RR i bought last august new...has 2.5k miles on it now. i have a jardine slip-on and power commander ordered, should be in tomorrow, it will also get a custom dyno-tune on the day of installation of the new parts. can't wait to hear the new sound and see how the performance changes. hopefully i'll still get the good mileage.
