I will see if i get any more miles after the dyno tune up but i doubt i will get any better than 120 as i will start to kane the bike more when i get 100% used to it .I am not realy bothered too much about how much fuel i use as long as my bike is quick but i was just wondering if i had a problem with my bike most people seem to do a lot more miles to the tank than me .I have a 18 litre tank is this the same as the US ? Or could it be we have more roundabouts here and not as many straight roads that could be why!

Light goes on at 115. Wish I could get more, but I like to go fast.

if i fill up as soon as the light comes on i put 14 litres in usually to full, that means i`ve nearly always got 4 litres left (18) when the reserve light comes on. I ride at general speeds as the traffic allows, i do tend to stay in the lower gears though and don`t change up unless the speed i`m doing warrants it which will use more fuel. The journeys to work normally always incude at least one 2mile 140mph stint on a dual carriageway nearby. 100 miles n the light normally comes on i`ve started to expect it.

Anubis -- so if you got 4 liters left then you got 1 liter more than me when your light comes on -- that could account for some of it. Also if I'm just cruising at 80ish I run it all the way to 6th for economy ... unless I see someone on a cell phone

I think that may have something to do with it , we seem to have 4 litres when the light comes on, U.S seem to have 3 litres when the light comes on.
