I installed a Taylormade exhaust on mine when it had 4 miles on the odo, before I had ever ridden it. I guess the dealer service tech put the initial miles on it when he took it out for a test ride after it was assembled.

I had it transported over 300 miles to my house where I wheeled it off the flatbed trailer and into my garage. It sat there for the rest of the winter as I waited for the ice and snow to melt off the roads. I got bored just looking at it so I did a lot of mods while waiting for the spring thaw, including the Taylormade.

Anyway, it now has a little over 6,300 miles on it and no oil burning issues.
