Default Going to be off the bike for awhile. :(

Today has by far been the worst, most painful day of my life. Today while at FTX 3 with my privates I blew my left knee out on the MRTC lane. Had to put me knee cap back into place myself. Almost passed out from the pain. The thing that kills me is I am going to be laid up for about a month as long as the MRI comes back clear. I have injured this knee in the past a couple times but this times was by far the worst. Normally my knee cap will go back in on its own but this time not so much. All the nice POPS and CRACK but it stayed out. I actually had to push my finger a little under the knee cap to lift it up and then slide it back into place. All I can say it FML right now.

That sounds like a nasty injury. Call me less learned or whatever but I am having a little trouble following a couple of the FTX 3 and MRTC's in it. Can you spell them out for me...when your feelin a little better.
In the meantime, heal fast brother.

FTX is a acronym for Field Training Exercise. MRTC is Mobile React To Contact also known as battle drill 1A mounted.

That clears it up... you were injured during a training excercise in the field. Thanks.
How long of a recovery time are you looking at?

Looking like 4 to 6 weeks as long as the MRI is clear.

Well things are looking up a little. I was voted by my peers and fellow drill sergeants as the drill sergeant of the cycle. I am kind of surprised seeing this is only my second cycle.

But don't you hate how when you are injured you really want to ride.
