Default 04-08 Model Differences

So I'm in the market for new Honda RR 1000 and my last bike was a 954rr. I just wanted to know in what years between the 04-08 did the bikes change significantly so it can help me when choosing between several bikes that I'm looking it. As far as cosmetics and plastics i really don't care, I like all models.

Just looking for big upgrades as far as performance for bikes and comparisons?

Thanx guys

04-07 were about the same...some minor upgrades from the 04-05 to the 06-07 years. The 08 is TOTALLY new and seems to be quite the bike so far. Buy what you like to look at and how it feels to you. YOU will be the only one that has to live with it and pay for it!

06 - 07 is slighty more hp then the 04 - 05
plus it weighs less, has a higher RPM and the gearing changed +1 in back on the 06-07

Plus the 06-07 just looks sexier!

I had the '04 (fat underpowered pig). I have ridden the '06 (a little better than the '04-'05). I am buying the '08. Bite the bullet and get the best liter bike ever made ... the 2008 1000RR.
