Went out for a little ride yesterday and came up to a red light and smoke came out from under the bike. I thought is was antifreeze, it smelled like it. The rear brakes seemed like they were wet. Well I made it home and put her in the garage last nite and when out to check her out. Checked the radiator, full. Hmmm.... I pushed on the rear brake and low and behold there was a drip of brake fluid coming out. I just replaced the brake lines over winter to SS brake lines. I tighten up the line no leak. Bled the line, Ready to ride again.

Hope you have given it a good wash off man. That brake fluid eats paint and it would be a real bummer for it to ruin that lovely paint work. Me i'd wash it well with lots of detergent and then preasure wash it to be sure it's all gone. Glad you sorted it, that could have been nasty if you had needed them in a hurry.

Tommorrow afternoon (knocking off early) my son and I and a close buddy of both of us are going for a nice country ride. So we are going to haul the compressor out of the attic and get all the tires right. This will be the buddy's first in many years. We'll be careful. I'm letting him ride one of my bikes. Male bonding and family too.
