Ok I know some people out there are wondering what I have done. Well today I made a fiberglass piece to replace the broken ear of my nose fairing. I have never worked with fiber glass before or tried. All I can say it came out the correct bend and thickness. It is unbelieveable. Well here are the photo's. no how to, I am sure I did everything wrong.

Great job Indy !
There's no "wrong" way - if it came out as you wanted it, you did it right !

Nice job Indie!
I made a fibre glass repair on the bottom of my fairing at the beginning of this year after rock went through it. I was quite happy with the result. No one would know.
The secret to success IMO is patience and allowing yourself sufficient time. The rest just comes.
Good luck with re-spraying and reassembly. Don't rush it.

Surprising good, I was kinda afraid to order them. Cause I still have the ones that I laid over on. So I ordered these to use until I fixed the originals. These are real good. I need to drill out the holes and fit them on the bike. I will most likely finish sometime tomorrow afternoon. If there are any specific question about the airtech fairing or if you want a closer pic of them just let me know. I not going to paint them just yet. I am going to ride a multicolored bike until fall...

Ive been quiet for a while but busy.
My lady now has new tyres, new chain/sprockets and eventualy ive got round to extending the black sripes from the belly pan all the way to the tail piece, it always bugged me looking at photos thinking "that should keep going to the tail piece" Sorted now.

She's all dressed

The fairings are fiberglass, not like the original ABS. Feels like all the mounting holes need to be reinforced.
