What have you done to your CBR 1000f today?
Last night i ordered my new tyres & went for a pair of Michelin Pilot Road (no number after them?) should be here by the weekend. Iv had Avon Azur on her since i got the bike 2 years ago & got 5k on them, not sure what they had done before me. Im sticking with the standard 170 on the rear because the price was the same as 180 i was expecting to get with the pair deal.

Did some more work on the exhaust today:
(You were right about the jigsaw Sprock)

Seeing how it lines up...

After measuring and welding...

And how it looks right now...

Still have to weld the other side, grind, decide on a heat shield (carbon fiber or a small piece of metal), paint.

Going to be a couple of weeks until I start it. I''m starting to mock up a heat shield. Right now I'm at three pieces that need to be rounded and welded (using 20ga steel)
Here's the mock-up of the 3 piece heat shield I was doing:

And then I though, 'Everybody else has a simple design, why re-invent the square?' So I made a 1 piece instead.

And proceeded to hammer the **** out of it to curve it (who says that **** isn't a good thing?)

Welded a pair of nuts to the pipe and drilled a pair of holes to mount it

Currently hanging up and drying after applying about 5 coats of high temp black paint
