What have you done to your CBR 1000f today?
I see now why the link pipe I sent ya might not be a fit - novel approach
making a "model" link pipe with pvc for a welding shop to fabricate
What's the "ID" in mm's on the exhaust can inlet Malbo ?

Collector ID: 1.75', 1 3/4', 44.5mm
************ OD: 1.9', 1 7/8', 48.26mm
Exhaust ID: 2', 2', 50.8mm
*********** OD: 2.12', 2 1/8', 53.848mm
Also, a 60* bend followed immediately by a 22.5* bend in a slightly different plane
hmmmm well - I'd dremel a cut into that pipe I sent ya on the smaller end to go into
the can and use Yale Muffler Cement for both ends or por15 fire seal 2000.
I take it that can has a fixed attached point ! or can it take a std mount strap ?

Fixed point like our original cans. Not going to cut up the stainless pipe, going to find a good muffler shop that can mandrel bend me some pipe. All the local shops to me only pressure bend stuff.
Yeah I was figuring that's why it was seated so far forward
Cor Metals in Mashpee do mandrel bending of stainless I believe
not sure if they do automotive ... I know they do architectural

He keeps 'odd' hours (at least the number of times I've gone by)
Hey:
Well, I have been working nites lately and been driving the CBR with the Shinko ravens on it. 2 good things have been found out during this time:
I have put about a thousand miles a week since the begining of the New Year, and it has been only cold here the last week, down in the teens for most all of my 1-1 1/2 hr ride home, and I can say is the Shinkos work for me in the cold, and rain.
So in 1 week I got to finally find out if the Shinkos could be used in the cold and rain , plus do a good job of keeping me reasonably happy handling wise, or if I should have stayed with the Avon Storms or not. The Storms seem to be more confidence inspiring but overall the Shinkos' are up to the task and should not be steered away from unless you are the kind of rider that is willing to push it in the cold and take chances with very aggressive riding. I don't like falling off, and hate it even more in the cold as it seems to hurt more and I don't heal like I used too. The Shinkos seem ok in the rain and cold and are very good in the heat.
Also I am glad I just purchased the Cycle Gear Freeze Out Gear. The face mask, shirt, pants, gloves, and socks that were on sale. The CG stuff works pretty good & very glad I did get them when I did. I hope they last for awhile. The upper 50 and 70 weather we had been getting all Winter came to a sudden stop and we have had many a morning in the teens and I only bought the CG stuff, because the price was right and just in case we got some colder WX sometime this year. It works very well even in the very cold rain to keep you warm.
So thats the info I wanted to share with y'all ATT.

I installed the new DID Gold x-ring chain and sprockets on Sunday along with Speed bleeders on all slaves, front brakes, rear brakes and clutch. Both front and rear sprockets were badly worn and noisy.
Tried another go at adjusting the counter balancer shaft, this time I took the pinch bolt completely off and finally was able to feel the elusive resistance. Warmed it up, nice and smooth now.
Now I just need to wait for the snow and rain to stop so I can ride.
