i finished putting all the body panels back on yesterday so the bike is finally complete. i started to trim the rear mud guard, but dont like how it came out so i'm going to redo it a little bit at some point this weekend.

anyone know of a good way to take the plate light off and replace it with something way more compact?

Yep pull it off, mount the plate flat inline with whats left after trimming

get a 9 LED strip and stick up under the tail and add some reflectors
above the plate (to make legal)

was looking thru the bike last night and found a little black box with a button it and a stick that says apc+ anyone have any clue what this could be at all. It was not plugged into anything and i have no clue what is it for. but other than that took the bike up into the mountains on Wednesday thru a area called the alpine loop. Bike loved it and so did the gf.

Sounds like the box may have been a switch or converter or something. Strange that the wires didn't go anywhere, tho.

On the "007" ejector button...... I've only ever seen one real one.... and it's on my bike.

here is the final trimmed piece. i actually moved the stock plate light up into the rear fairing, but it was too big as a whole so the cover came off and its just the bulb hanging out into the air right now. i dont drive in the rain so it's cool, but i'll put a cover on it at some point so it won't get screwed up.

over the winter im trimming it off more and moving the plate to the unused exhaust mount on the clutch side of the bike, but this will do for now. it lights up really nice at night, just like it should stock.
