Easiest way is to just slide the front end down an inch on the yokes
You could back off the rear spring , but that may make the ride a little sloppy as well as lower her..
A really good way is to have your seat re done and put better more comply filling in it while re shaping it to give to a lower seat height .. but this will cost a few buck to get done obviously..

I did go through the search and found some stuff on lowering links which would work...also thinking about the idea of the 1988 shock, but I would be leary of a used shock seeing as they do overheat over time and wear out...too expensive to buy a new one right now, but I believe I can make the lowering links myself...im a competent welder and machinst so it shouldnt be a problem...it already has the corbin seat on it which I understand to be lower to begin with and I dont really want to mess with the seat since it has the gel pad and all in it...would rather rework the suspension to make it lower, but still handle correctly...has anyone noted a difference in handling when lowered this way? I can touch my toes to the ground on both sides, but I feel that I should at least have the ball of my foot planted firmly on both sides in order to keep her up at a light and back up...the cbr600 was perfect for me, but I found this one for such a good price I cant turn away...would love to have a cbr 750, but that doesnt look very likely...hell I cant even tell if they were ever even available in the states and parts would be a real pain too.
