Not enough of a difference to bother with IMO. I did it and now I'm going to do the handlebar conversion to get the lift i want.

^ I agree. I bought the VFR clip-ons and did a test fit on one side. Its the same as the other side with Genmar risers. You are better off with 10 minute installation with the risers.

Vf1000F has also 41mm legs, bars are considerably higher, and fit without problems.

Default FJ1200 bars

Anyone tried FJ1200 clip-ons on a CBR1000f - they look a good bit higher than OE CBR1000f, they are 41mm and have a lug which sits on top of the yoke & may well give extra security against turning on the fork tube ?
