Default VFR 800 'bars?

Hi fellas. I was talking to my mechanic the other day and he mentioned that he's heard of people fitting VFR 800 'bars to Blackbirds,as they (the vfr 'bars) are slightly higher.
Anyone know if this would work on the mighty CBRF?
Cheers, Dave.

VFR750 bars are 41mm

And if i remember correctly - one guy showed me some CBF1000 bars fitted to a CBR1000F so they must also be 41mm

Thanks for that.Hopefully VFR750 'bars are also slightly higher than the CBRF ones.
Atanything over 120kmh, I find the riding position good, but as I am still waiting on a few points to be returned to me (too many hand held lasers), Ispend more of my highway time trying to behave and would be more comfortable with my hands just a touch higher.
Risers are quite expensive,so I'm looking for a cheaper way.
Dave.

I can confirm. VFR 750 bars are higher, and 41 mm. If I remember correct, R1000 here on this forum used VFR750 bars on his Blackbird, he grinded up the bars to fit 43mm forks.
He can probably confirm this? R1000?

If you just want a little bit of rise on the cheap, just raise your bars up on the forks about 3/4 inch. I rode my 95 for a month or two this way, after I bought my bike and before I replaced my stock bars with adjustable clip ons, and had no problems.
