Did we talk? I have a set of helibars, but I am not sure if they will fit your bike or not.

Hi,
Yes we did, i emailed Heli about them as i understand they are for the 929, they will fit but they do not give the same adjustment that the dedicated 954 bars will give. I think if i am going to have some fitted then i want to get the correct bars (Heli or otherwise) that are meant for my model. Ta

Hi Hudson,
I've got Vtec VFR bars on my Blackbird, 3/4" higher and 1 1/2" further back. This make the Bird feel more like the CBR1000F I had before, more upright and comfy. You'd need to check the suspension diameters are the same ( get the tapemeasure out at your local dealers).

Hi,
Yep my forks are the standard 50mm but i think its all down to how they fit and how that fitting affects the fairing clearance etc. Trying to find someone with a 954 who has fitted bars that are meant for a different bike and then can comment on if the fitting went ok is very difficult, then (if they do fit ok) trying to find those exact type bars for my bike ! Thats why i am having a few '' issues '' getting a set of anything, i could buy some for a VFR or a 929 but unless i know how (and if) they fit a 954 i am taking a bit of a risk.

I honestly can't remember on price and I do believe they are for the 929. Let me dig them out again and contact Helibars and see if they can give me a no-bs answer.
