Default REDICULOUSLY STUPID QUESTION

I have an '07 CBR 600rr and i took my screen off to paint the thing. How the hell do i get it back on? It seem like the plastic that the parts that once fit so nicely are to big to go back where they are supposed to?!

Find a picture of how the factory screen fit. Then do trial and error fitments until it works. It will go back together properly when you have everything aligned the way it should.

Maybe somebody is playing a trick on you and they replaced your original parts with bigger parts when you weren't looking...

Be vigilant!

please, just put down the tools and back away before you hurt yourself.

serioulsy, if it came off, it will go back on....but are you talking about the rubber grommets. I forget the actually name. but you have to kinda work them back into the holes, kinda bunch up the flange(mushroom top)and push it through the hole from the bottom of the screen.

AAH, I just did this.. its a pain in the *****. It comes out easy, but wont go back in smooth. What you need to do is put the rubber spacers back into the windscreen. Next, loosen the easy to get to bolts on holding the nose cone in place. They are to the left and the right sides, dont worry about the hard to reach ones in the center. Once the nose cone is loose, you should be able to shimmy it forward enough to get a good look inside the nose. It is at this point that you lay it back down where it came from, and then put the nose cone back in place over it, screw the nose cone back in first, then tighten up the windscreen...

Also, no question is stupid... this community is designed for helping each other with dumb crap one cannot figure out on his or her own. No sweat on it, just ask.
