Default led turn signal problem

I bought these turn signals for my 05 600rr. The problem is that there is no base for them to mount to the place where the old signal was. Has anyone done this before? If you have what did you use to tighten down the signals?

this is what needs to be covered up.

These are the only adapters I can find but the're for the front blinkers and different cbr models.

Isnt there some kind of insert (maybe made of rubber) that goes into that oval that has 2 circular holes for mounting and wiring? Check the end of your stock signals....

yes it does but its too thick for the bolt on the new blinker to go all the way through.

my recommendation would be to try and use the stock base just go to home depot or menards and see if there is a way you cane extend the bolt. just m.o.

go to homedepot or lowes and buy some plexiglass scrap and cut it to cover the stock hole..then drill the hole for the new turn signal.
