So i had gotten pretty good at doing stoppies in the last couple of weeks and decided to try riding them out a little further. Well as you have probably guessed by now i wasnt ready to try this and went over the handlebars. I felt so stupid because i was in front of a few people that my riding partner had just been talking me up to. I was almost able to land on my feet and escape without injury but of course me being as graceful as an infant on crack, I took a digger and the bike came down on my leg and i believe it was the foot peg went through my boot and managed to break a bone in my foot. The bike isnt actually wrecked but I did snap the foot peg, mirror and clutch lever doesnt seem to have any mechanical problems but I only rode for about 5 min to get home and not very hard considering i was having a hell of a time shifting without a foot peg and only about an inch left of the clutch lever. I guess the point to all my ramblings is be careful and make sure you know what your doing before trying something. I believe i got off very lucky. Thank god!!

 

Happens to everyone man. you gotta push yourself that is the only way to get better. Glad you're okayand those 929s are toughasss bikes. flipped mine upside down and drove it 55 miles home in the shape of a U. front touching the tire and the *** touching the tire. both covered in a foot of mud and it started right up and drove home. now it has character. 01 front 01 mids 00 tail and none of em match LOL.

yea i've flipped a few stoppies....not fun.

that bike aint wrecked! just has few battle scars...

good thing you got away almost unscathed. i wish you a speedy recovery
