Clutching Wheelies
Ok so i tried today to clutch some second gear wheelies and it just seems like the bike wants to jerk and i hear the tire squeel. Is this just from letting the clutch out to fast or something else... is it better to slip the clutch after the rev or just dump it
Make sure your tire is warm too... and if the psi in the tire is too high (*depends what tire you have, some grip great at higher psi, some you have to drop it a bit). Other than that, just keep practicin the clutch. Some guys can clutch it up on roads that I wouldnt ever dream of bringin it up on. A lot of it is technique I guess... not so much a SNAP as a smooth power gain/rev... hard to explain on the net, other than keep practicin and do like 12 said... do what you can to get your weight back, and if your good/comfortable with it... bounce it a bit, that helps a TON... and of course when it does come up, cover that brake bro
sorry I cant help more

Here. I went out and took a video tonight of my second gear wheelies. This is my 4th time going out for 20 minutes or so each playing in second gear. Normal setting stance, no bounce up. Clutch, and clutch only. It is frustrating starting out. I though my bike could NOT get up in second. After the 1st time, it is simple to get up. I LOVE IT!
