80 MPH

its not a speed thing its a feeling thing, rpm thing, everything goes into making a good wheelie.

I would suggest getting an engine cage if youre gunna start doing wheelies, cause its only a matter of time till you crash

you can wheel in second gear anywhere from around 30mph up to, well I guess 80 like mikey said. but going 80 on one wheel is dangerous for someone who doesn't know what they are doing and for going that fast 3rd would work better.

as far as not landing on your back, REAR BRAKE, its your oh **** lever. that and take baby steps.

wear some gear too.

Thanks for the info. I do have the propper gear to wear. I can get the bike on 1 wheel no problem. Just was having trouble with clutching it up. New bike for me so im still getting use to the BP and the RPMS needed to clutch it.

No dont go 80!!! u nuts??? for a beginner thats way to fast. Go 5000 rpm (not 14000rpm that is not 600!!!)what ever the speed is and then clutch it up. just get the feel of front end getting light and then try to keep it up. It will take u couple months but the end result will be= ur still going to have ur bike!

80 MPH even too fast for a second gear power wheelie just stay around 40Mph and clutch it up you should be around 4-5krpm

Thanks,
4-5k sounds a little more reasonable on the RPMs then 13.

Yep I would say I'm doing around 40 or 50mph (Not sure bout the RPMs never really looking) in 2nd and you really dont need a lot to get her up, maybe 7500-8000? You'll just have to get a feel for it. Sorry I can't be more precise but all I know is that she comes up smooth and steady and the next thing I know I've got a big smile on!
