well i have about 1/2 inch on the left and 3/4 on the right, i have no intention on leaning any further in the near future. ive been riding for about 3 months and if people will judge me by my tires, so be it.

but y is that i can not lean as far to the right as i can to the left? i just dont get that.

You might have better body positioning to your right. When I first started getting my bike over I always had a strip on my right but nothing on my left and I think it was because I was more comfy hanging off on right handers.

Tyre profile can affect things too. But basically, stop thinking about it. It doesn't really matter.

To my amazement I once saw stick on bonnet(hood) pins for cars. They were basically like "real" ones but with double sided tape to stick them on. Yes, people will buy anything.
