Not true actually because now that I use proper body positioning, my street tires have worse chicken strips than before because I refuse to hit public road bends at the insane speeds proper technique allows.

I have Michelin Pilot Road 2 (2ct) on my bike . I have put 11k miles on them and not only are they still good on tread... they have no chicken strips! And im not hitting twisties every day, its only once in a while. Maybe switching to some dual compound tire will help you as well.

The easiest way to get rid of them is a 50% mixture of bleach and water. Use a scrub brush, some rubber gloves, a little elbow grease and the tire will look even all around.

Although that's probably not what you meant.

These are not link to other forums. They're links to other sections of this forum (cbrf domain) Other website links are not allowed
