Default chicken strips????

can someone tell me what exactly chicken strips are....i ride my bike on twisties all the time, how do you tell if you have chicken strips on your bike.....any pics??

Take a look at your rear tire, you can tell how far you have gone over in corners, or if you look at someone elses back tire and think to yourself, you can't even lean this bike over you have a lot of room left on your tire that is untouched..... chicken strip.

It's when there is more tread on the sides then in the middle. The tire is round on the sides and flat in the center.

Chicken strip, as in "what a chicken that GSXR ridder must be; look how much virgin rubber (aka chicken strip) is on the side of his tire" Just means that somebody does not have the knowledge, skill, or stones to lean over in corners. You see it on 'busas all the time.

how wide does your "used rubber" section have to be to not be considered a chicken strip? ive heard of chicken strips and kno what they are and everything, i just didnt kno how wide ur stip has to be to not be considered a chicken strip

well, some idiots give people crap if you have any strip at all. If you are draggin knees than you will not have any strips.
but I see the strips on people's bikes and I think now that is a person who either rides safe & smart or a newer rider.
