Conrice's 954 FIGHTER build thread
alright, i sold those purty fairings to AAA817. its good because it freed up some money for me and today i did a little purchasing.
i bought Easton EXP 1 3/8 bars

i bought everything except the easton cover
then i picked up a master cylinder for a 03-04 600rr . that way ill have the low profile i want.
and i picked up another pair of shorty levers since the repsol stole the ones i had prior.

i think they'll match the bars pretty well
i'm pretty damn amped for them to get here

alright, looks like i'm sending out the top case of the motor next week to millennium technologies to be bored (to 76mm), plated, honed/hatched. and i'm using wiseco 13.5:1 pistons.
you guys want to see what the pistons looked like?

pretty damn bad.... i can't believe i still had compression with how much those things must have been slappin' . remember, that's from the motor i bought that had a "mysterious tick".i would have taken pictures of the case - it's just as bad - but it's already packed up to head to wisconsin.
o... and i got 1000rr forks on too.

waiting on brakes still from hoppa2k6. going to be making 5mm spacers (which i think actually turn out to 10mm spacers (because the 06/07 forks already have 5mm spacers)) out of some stuff from ace hardware.
rc51 top clamp is on the way so that i have a flat surface to drill risers for the easton fat bar.
since i sold the tank, i'm looking for a really bad one with a big *** dent in preferably the front or front sides. a local guy who runs a really nice resto/repair body shop is going to help me french the gauges into the tank, and make an air outlet for my big pod filter that will be the bike's new air intake. we also might try to increase the fuel capacity a bit. and the tank is going to fit the frame a little more because the front of the tank is square while the frame is curved to come into the stem stock.
i found a site that has factory edition paints (the titanium) and that's going to be the main color of my bike (since it is registered as a titanium edition - and it's my fav. color of the bike).
anyone know where i can get a tall or narrow (fairly big sized) flask? i'm making a coolant reservoir out of one.
