Conrice's 954 FIGHTER build thread
Yeah, and I thought I was being responsible by putting my doors (therefore side view mirrors) back on. What was so odd to me was that I was trying to rent a 4x6 open trailer... I could pull it behind a bicycle, let alone any car...
But I do really like my Jeep - '94 YJ. Its as good as it gets until the bike gets done.

Don't feel bad. My explorer is banned from renting anything at uhaul. And it actually has an aftermarket hitch installed by a certified Reese installer. They don't care is an unsafe tow vehicle. Yet they will install a high and rent me a trailer on my 98 mustang gt. Wtf
I saw that! I was in disbelief so I googled it when i got home and the Explorer thing came up too. I wonder if it had something to do with that period of time the first gen. Explorers were having tire issues.
That's exactly what it has to do with. I even tried to explain the difference and point out that my truck has Michelin's not the Firestone toes that were actually the cause of the issue. Plus the 20/20 report where they tried to replicate it by rapidly deflating the tires to simulate a blow out and couldnt get the same effect. No dice. Oh well, I found a trailer that suits my needs about a more down the road for 250 guess I'll go that route.
Well, I'm glad you found a trailer. Bit that's nuts that they have that big of a blanket ban with the Explorer...
I finally found a US diagram.

not mechanically (although you do get water and dirt thrown in your face in the rain), but aesthetically, I don't like it as much as a smaller cafe fender.
