Man that sounds good. Shell island is an amazing place. If you've never been before you won't believe the beaches there.
I would be there like a shot but it just happens to be my daughters 18th birthday that weekend so the chances of me even being allowed to come are totally zero, unless she suddenly gets to be a fanatical pillion rider. Unlikely. Bad timing.
Seriously though, if any other UK riders fancy a good weekend in a most beautiful place, this has got to be high on the list of must do events this year.

Well, its finally here - off to Thundersprint on Friday for a weekend of classic bike racing on Anglesey

 

So May is nearly upon us with hopefully a good summer ahead. Has anyone got rides in mind or planned? We need to do another decent weekend of CBR riding and drinking,

Any thoughts?? Shall we go west for a start? London to Atlantic highway (Cornwall) or North, south or east?

Fellow members, may I draw your attention to this that has gone on FB today!

Motorbike meet and car park protest against motorbike parking charges. The aim is to take all of the car parking spots for 2 hours - 1 bike in 1 space, then move to 3 bikes per space for 2 hours to show the difference. Please pass this to as many bike groups/clubs as you can to increase numbers. 1st meeting point will be Leicester Forest East services southbound. More to come as numbers/ direction of riders increases.

a few bikers are having a non-motorway ride around the cinque ports of kent and SE England on the 4th August. If anybody would care to join us here are the details.

Guys and girls could I ask you to either come along for some or all of the ride or to donate to Cancer Research UK. Its not a big challenge but it's for a worthy cause.

Total of 437 or more miles to be ridden without motorways. From Bedworth to Scarborough on Friday night, then Scarborough to Morecombe and home on the Saturday. All to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Please give what you can. You can join us for some or all of the route by donating £5. Donations can be given on line as well Rich Moore is fundraising for Cancer Research UK. Thanks for your support.
