Two weeks to go.
I'm starting to get excited.... thinking about what to take, how to pack...... just anticipating that feeling of freedom.

Have you booked a hotel yet Rick? I'm going to look into it later today but if you've already done it let me know where so I can try the same place.

So where the hell is everyone else? Are all our fellow UK riders disinterested? Jeez! How sad!!!

Thumbs up 3W update

Henry,
just starting to look at accomodation - 1st night Chester area, 2nd Aberwysth or a bit further round. Now that its seems its the 3 of us I have looked at another route with more Welsh roads . see what you think.

Do you want to search B&B/ cheap hotels? I will need a twin.

Thumbs up Wicked Wales Tour

Just got back from an outstanding 3 day trip around some of Wales - Portsmouth to Chester, Caernarvon, atlantic coast road, Aberwysth, Tregaron, Brecon, Monmouth, Chepstow, Portsmouth with just 50 miles of motorway. The rest was outstanding A, B C and unclassified roads!
Outstanding trip made better for the company - Big Thanks to Bugkillas Accomplice and HenryM.

Question New road trip suggestion

Hi Everyone,

During our Wales road trip we came up with an idea for the NEXT ROAD TRIP

Cinque Ports of Kent - suggested start point Brighton working our way around the entire kent coast stopping at the 5 ports.

Any suggestion for September dates????

All CBRs welcome - the more the merrier

My god, what a blast.
It was late when I got back and unfortunately it's been a roller coaster at work since getting up on Monday morning so I've not had time to share the little snippets with you all.
Here's the link to my photo's of the trip.

CBRs Wales weekend pictures by HenryMong - Photobucket

The photos aren't in order thanks to photobucket's crappy date recognition system but you'll get the drift of the terrain. Absolutely beautiful, every metre of the way.
Apart from the intense rain on the last 103 miles back home after saying goodbye to Rick and Tanya the whole ride was enough to leave my ears needing plastic surgery. The buggers were joined together at the back of my head, pushed there by the insane grin on my lips. My surgeon said I should stop smiling so intensely, recommending a sabbatical in a monastery far away from a bike, whisky or mind bending scenery.
They're still joined together. I'm quite comfortable. The surgeon isn't.
Thanks guys. It was a total pleasure, every god-damned minute!

So Cinque ports ride out? It's got legs. Let's give it wheels!

C'mon peeps. If you don't remember what you're missing, riding with other like minded bikes and riders, come and remind yourself!
Details and dates to be agreed.

Rob,
The pub was a deliberate choice but more bikes would of been good

I think we need to plan a ride out for the NE for spring 2012 - put your thinking cap on 0 what about trans pennine

Question Help Needed from UK riders & Mods

Guys and Girls,

I am trying to raise some decent numbers for rideouts
A) Kent rideout in Sept/Oct 2011
B) NE rideout for March/April 2012

Recent rideouts have produced low numbers of CBRs! So I want to call out to ALL UK CBR riders (all sizes) to join in and show the CBR is not a rarity

Is there a way the mods can compile a list of all UK members so we can contact them enmass possibly via PM or sticky?

If MCN, Hog riders, Ace Cafe can do it surely CBRForum can
