On ine the calf and waist are relatively tight but the tigh/butt/crotch area is really loose. Once i sat on the bike they snugged up in the butt and thighs but the crotch was still baggy. If I ordered mine any smaller I don't think I could get my legs in them.

My new size pants just came in. Wow, what a difference. These fit like a glove. When you have nothing to compare, it's hard to guess ones size. Other than the jeans I wear, which is what I ordered size wise and the leathers came too big then. I'm glad I ordered these. Otherwise, I would have just been wearing the wrong size the whole time. I will have to post pic's of my ride and gear when I get a chance. Thanks for the help out there. I'm a happy rider now!

I noticed you really have to break these pants-in. I felt a bit restricted when I first got on my bike. Once I stretched them out and rode for a bit, they felt a lot better. I guess I need to keep wearing them for a while. I'm keeping them on even at home and bending/stretching to break them in. They are not tight. Just a bit stiff in certain areas, (knees, hip, etc.). Is this normal?

Yes, you are right. There are pads in these areas. I have worn many motorcycle jackets. But, this is my first experience with pants. Quite a difference. I was used to wearing jeans and had all kinds of free movement. But, I feel a lot safer in these. Even though it takes some getting used to. Just lifting my legs on the pegs took some extra effort. Shifting is easy though. It will get better. Thanks!
