Default Leather Pants

Mine just came-in after ordering them. Rocket Blaster 2's. They seem to fit okay in certain parts of my leg. The lower calf area is tight. However the thigh and crotch are loose. Waist is tight. They look like **** too. If I get a size smaller, I'm afraid they will be too small all around. Do the fit better with time/use?? Should I just live with these? These are my first leather pants. Maybe I'm just self conscious. My jacket looks great though. I'm in really decent shape too. Any advice?

Thx

its for protection not a fashion contest lol. n most the ones I seen iy looks like the wearer took a dump in the pants. they are madr to fit better with you on the bike, not standing in front of the mirror.

And yes mine fit the same way lol

Thanks for the quick and informative reply "PlayfulGod". Yes, I'm most concerned about protection. But, I don't want to look like I got the wrong size pants. Unfortunately, I had to order them and I can't just try on a bunch of sizes. I wish I could though. Maybe it will fit better with time.

No I haven't ridden with them yet. I will tomorrow, I think. I was excited opening the box up and then after trying them on, felt like crap. I feel better knowing you have the same issue though. Looks like I **** my pants effect! I mean, I could return them and try another size. Just hate waiting over another week to see how they fit. Spent good money on all my gear so far.

New '07 CBR600RR
New Shoei RF-1000 Helmet
New Joe Rocket Blaster 2 Jacket
New Racer Kangaroo Hide Gloves
New Sidi Vertigo's
Now New Joe Rocket Blaster 2 Pants

This has been an expensive month!

Ok. Now I am confused as to what to do after reading some of the responses. It sounds like I need to return them and get a tighter fit. Because, they definitely aren't as tight as you say. They just fit funny all around. Tighter in the lower half, but loose in the middle and thigh. Waist is okay? I mean, I don't know what to do now???

I don't know if you have a "Cyclegear" anywhere near you... but here's what I would do. (I'm doing this for my jacket I'm going to buy, the Joe Rocket CBR leather) Put your money down to order a pair, but have them ship 2 sizes. That way you can try on both sizes, keep the one you like, and they can return the one that doesn't fit as well. Since you already tried on this size, I would order a size smaller at least. Try them on, see what you think. As far as the ones you have now, go for a ride in them first and see how they feel, if you still don't like them, send them back for a refund (you'll lose your shipping money sadly). Then order a couple of sizes at a Cyclegear and take the one you like best. I pay a little extra to do it this way, but I'd MUCH rather try before I buy when it comes to gear.

Yeah, the place I ordered them through, only allow store credit on returns. So, I don't want to eat the cost and order from somewhere else. Also, I think i I wear them riding, I won't be able to return them. And if I order a smaller pair and find they don't fit, I'm back to square one. Thanks for the suggestions though. I may just have someone look at them on me in the store and see what they think. I personally think they look/feel like ****. But, maybe that's the way they are.

Well, I showed them on at the store where I ordered them from. And they said I need a size smaller. Good to know. I had to order them. Another week before I see how these fit. They said they should fit like the AS's. And those in the smaller size fit well. Thanks for the input.
