Default Honda cbr 125 r gas tank problems

2005 model

I've looked around online for solutions but have not been able to find much.

My issue is that when the fuel tank is connected the bike won't start. But if i use a bottle with gas in it and push it inside the carb it starts and runs pretty good. Carb is clean, battery new, bike only has 7500km. What may be the issue? I've seen someone talking about fuel filter i've just not even been able to find where it's located. Also talked with a few ppl and they said that fuel pumps rarely give out.

Do you have flow from the tank itself if you simply pull the fuel line?

Yes, I have flow from the fuel tank. We drained the carb and checked if fuel kept coming out when we started it which it did. Yesterday we got it running the biked idled for a good 5 minutes then i wen't out to drive it but it stalled after driving for 15-30 seconds. I held the idle pretty high for a while too. So idk it this is with any help.

With the tank connected, try opening the fuel cap and see if that makes a difference. If so, your vacuum line is blocked/pinched.

No not necessarily. It can work for a while until the vacuum pressure inside the tank gets to be too much. Thank of a jug that you are pouring out fluid. If it doesn't have a vent hole the fluid flow isn't smooth. Create or open the vent hole and everything pours freely.
Another symptom is when the bike is running and you start to experience the issue and you open the cap, if you hear a sucking or whooshing sound, that is a clear indicator of breather tube issues.
