Reconnecting the gas tank on a CBR 600 F3...help
Ok, this has been my project bike for over a year now, and I"m entering the home stretch. I've just re-attached the gas tank after having it painted, but I have a question.
I recovered this bike after it was stolen for 8 years, and when I took the gas tank off to inspect it, the jerks had removed all of the tubes except for the main fuel line. I've now reconnected the main fuel line, and have gotten replacement tubes,a larger one and a smaller one. I know one is a drain that goes straight down and sticks out of the bottom of the bike in case of overfill. Does the other tube connect with anything, or does it also run straight down? Forgive my ignorance, but I can't find any type of diagram that's been able to help me with this, and I want to see if I can get it to crank, but I don't want to put gas in it until I know for sure all the tubes and lines are hooked up right.
Thanks in advance!
