What do you think of a VFR800 Interceptor?
But....there is a problem with them regarding the charging system. I know a guy with an '02 who has been through 2 OEM stators, 2 OEM rectifiers and 2 aftermarket rectifiers. He is now looking for another rectifier! Another guy is on his second rectifier.
Never had a problem with either of my two VFR's. Most owners that have electrical issues have accesories added which i think strains the system.

There's a guy on vfrdiscussion.com that makes a modified harness add on. They have good info.
I'm beginning to think that CBR stands for Counton Buying Rectifiers...and VFR is the same way: inVariably Faulty Regulators...is it that hard to perfect a technology this old or is it some propietary, unavoidable thing?
have not had the VFR 800 had theprevious model 96 750 and love the damn thing only got rid of it due to a permanent duty station change which was a joke but anyway you can lean it right over enjoyed the hell out of it and I have heard horror stories about the reflector just melting down never seen it and don't want to

I've had a '97 VFR (loved it) and now have an '03 (love it too) Goes well with the cbr's

I've even tracked the big VFR a few times with nice results...

You wont go wrong buying a VFR. I dont think i've ever met anyone that owned one that didn't love it.
