Folks,
I just looked at a used Interceptor VFR 800 for sale and it's tempting. It has 12,000 miles, looked really clean, all stock parts, no scratches. Cost $5800. Is it worth it or keep looking for something else. Initially wanted a CBR but there's none for sale here in El Paso.

What do you think??

Help.
Ready to ride again.
It's one of the greatest bikes ever built, honestly. Handles like nothing else, great mid-range power, good weight (I like a slightly heavier bike) and a fantastic sound.

Got rid of the boat anchor exhuast and put a Scorpion muffler on. Sounds mean. I love it when people stare at me when I pass them cuase I know they're saying "That doesnt sound like a crotch rocket at all". LOL

........and if you cant afford $800 for an exhaust, or whatever that system costs.... let me know and i can show you how to open up and remove some of the innards of the stock cans to get the same sound. Plus you can keep the cool triangular look of the stock cans. [sm=bling.gif]

There's a guy that made an under body exhuast. The muffler is basically a rectangular box. Looks good.
