Start out with the right bike

RE: Start out with the right bike
every rider is different and no bike is perfect
find the bike that is the closest overall to what you really want then mod the rest
and as for what somebody should start out on depends on their finances and amount of self control
with enough restraint you could learn on a busa
i only rode a crf150 before i got my f4i and made the transition no problem
a new rider just needs to be honest with themselves about whether or not they can resist twisting the throttle

RE: Start out with the right bike
Alot of people will say that the Ninja 250 is a great starter bike and they are half way right. The bike is cheap-light and not real fast, but in a short time you will get sick of it and want a faster bigger bike. Most Ninja 250's with higher mileage have had like 6 owners because they were a starter bike that was owned for a short time. I think a 600 is a good starter bike as long as you know the basics of riding and can control yourself. I love when people that have never rode go and buy a huge HD for there first bike and spend like 20K or more. I know the HD's are not that fast, but that's alot of bike the learn on and a big oops when you drop it.
As far as modding goes I love it. I have never had a car that I did not mod in some way-some more then others, but they all have had mods. I even modded the hell out of my 04 CRF50 when I had it and my CBR has a nice amount of mods.

Why does other peoples bikes and their mods affect you. Personally im tired of all the bitching and complaining people do about others bikes and if they ride it enough or what not. Just ride your bike and be happy. Are they affecting you that much that you cannot function? Maybe some ritalin will work.[sm=dontgetit.gif][sm=idontcare.gif][sm=lame.gif]
