Default Am I missing out?

I just picked up an 02 f4i, my first street bike. I jumped on it because I got a great deal and have always been partial to Honda's due to their reliability and ease to work on (i <3'd my 2001 cr250 when i had it)

I didnt get a chance to try any other bikes, the gsx-r600 looks nice but..iunno.

should i have waited and looked at a few more bikes first? im using my f4i strictly for commuting and fun on the weekends, no track days..yet.

The F4i is still considered a very good bike from every aspect. They have a pretty advanced look and can still run with a lot of the new 600s. I think you made a good choice! Now get some sliders on her before you lowside or something.

Good choice on the 600. The 600 class has come a long way since I started riding. The 750 class has all but disappeared except for the suzuki. The litrebikes are heartattack serious.
I still have my 87600 Hurricane. The hondas are reliable andthe performance level is limitedmore by rider skill than machine capabilities. Goodluck and keep the rubber side down.

I doubt you're missing out much. not many riders are actually ABLE to push a modern 600 to its limits on account of the skill limits of the component attached to the seat and handlebars.

yeah i guess its like MX..everyone thinks they need a 250 thumper but in truth not many people can even ride a 125cc bike to its potential!

just fyi i hate 4-stroke mx bikes..2-strokes rule! but anyways..

If that is your first streetbike then you are spoiling yourself. You will compare every bike you get to it in the future and the bar is set very high.
